Powering Elan tells the inspiring story of how clean energy is transforming lives in a remote village in Garissa County, Kenya. Through a small solar mini-grid system, more than 200 homes now have access to electricity and a solar-powered borehole that provides clean drinking water for locals, their livestock and wildlife. This is the first time since Independence that locals have tap water and electricity. This documentary shows the power of community ownership and income involvement in implementing renewable energy projects.
